More Than a Camp

Give Your Child a Summer That Builds Them

Most summer camps are glorified daycare. This is a structured athletic development program run by a combat sports athlete and father of three with 15+ years of training experience. Your child will leave every week faster, stronger, more coordinated, and more disciplined than when they started.

Athletic Development

Speed, agility, coordination, and strength training through age-appropriate drills and games. Ladder work, cone drills, sprints, jumping mechanics — the skills that transfer to every sport.

Character & Discipline

Every day includes a 'Warrior Huddle' — a short lesson on discipline, resilience, effort, and respect. These aren't lectures. They're conversations that stick with kids long after summer ends.

Weekly Mini Combine

Every Thursday, kids compete in timed tests and challenges. They get scorecards, track their progress, and parents are invited to a ceremony at pickup. Real accountability, real results.

Homeschool Families Welcome

The Physical Education Your Child Deserves

If you homeschool, you already know the challenge: finding structured, high-quality physical development that goes beyond a playground visit. Your kids are sharp academically — but are they building the athletic foundations that support focus, confidence, and health?

Summer Warrior Camp fills that gap. It's not a drop-off-and-forget program. It's a deliberate, progressive system where your child develops real athletic skills in a small group setting with individualized coaching.

Small groups (8-10 max) — every child gets attention
Progressive skill development across the summer
Social interaction with peers in a structured environment
Daily character lessons that reinforce values you teach at home
Weekly progress reports so you see the development

Your Coach

Meet Coach Dee

A combat sports athlete and father of three with over 15 years of experience in Muay Thai, MMA, kickboxing, strongman lifting, and strength and conditioning. Coach Dee is not a theory guy — he is on the field, in the gym, and in the trenches every single day.

After coaching his own sons' teams, he noticed something undeniable: the kids who received structured athletic development off-season dominated when they returned. Parents started reaching out, asking him to do the same for their children.

SD Youthletics was born from that demand. Summer Warrior Camp is the intensive version — 4 days a week, 3 hours a day, building the athletic foundation that carries into every sport and every area of life.

"I'm not theorizing about fatherhood and fitness. I'm the dad on the field with kids AND the guy building a legacy for his family."
Coach Dee

Questions

Frequently Asked

What ages is the camp for?

Ages 6-11, all skill levels. We group kids by ability and age within the session so everyone is challenged appropriately.

Does my child need prior athletic experience?

Not at all. The program is designed to meet kids where they are. Whether your child is a complete beginner or already plays organized sports, they'll be challenged and developed.

What should my child bring?

Athletic shoes (no sandals), comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle, sunscreen, and a healthy snack. Snack breaks are built into the schedule, but parents are responsible for providing their child's snacks. We provide all training equipment.

Where is the camp held?

Outdoors at a park in San Diego. The exact location will be shared upon registration. All sessions are weather-permitting with a rain policy in place.

Can I register for just one week?

Absolutely. Registration is per-week, so you can sign up for as many weeks as fit your schedule. We recommend multiple weeks for the best results.

What's the sibling discount?

10% off for each additional child from the same family. Contact Coach Dee directly to apply the discount.

Is there a registration/waiver form?

Yes. After payment, you'll complete a registration form with medical info, emergency contacts, and a liability waiver at SDyouthletics.com/register.
